Cutest Little Coffee Shop

This afternoon I ventured off to Highland Park in Dallas to have a coffee date with my beautiful little sister. At first we were going to walk around the shops and stop by Starbucks but then we decided to try a new spot. This place was called Royal Blue Grocery. It's a little mart with goods and a coffee shop with some delicious pastries and coffee. 

As you can see we are both lovers of sunnies! I got mine at Nordstroms and she got hers here!

Mine were only $12!!

Here's my whole outfit: Top is from American Eagle about a million years ago lol. and the bottoms too but I got those recently, so you have a good chance at scoring them.

shoes are from Nordstroms from around Chritsmas time but lace up flats are totally in right now so you can find them in a lot of department stores :)

Sprinkles Cupcakes + Ice Cream Is Whats For Dinner

Tonight we treated ourselves to some Sprinkles Cupcakes + Ice Cream in Dallas. We hadn't been to Sprinkles since years before Peyton was born, so I had the brilliant idea to make it a family night. If you know me, Sundays and Mondays are our "weekend" My husband works irregular days so thats our weekend and I like for us to venture out of our bubble and try new things!

Tonight was full of delicious sweets and yummy carbs! Call it a cheat day!

Even Peyton got her own tiny cute Red Velvet cupcake! and surprisingly my picky eater ate the WHOLE cupcake!!!! It was awesome!

Followed by the cupcakes we took a little walk around the plaza and took some fun mommy/daughter pics! WHY NOT?!! she's only going to be this young once and when she's older she may not want to take pics with me! so I will soak it up :D

We even matched with our kicks! Hers are baby Air Force 1s and mine are Adidas Superstars

The best part was this expression on her face after she had her cupcake!! <3

From Day to Night

The best part of jewelry is that you can literally take the same outfit you were wearing all day and glam it up to take it to a night time look. I was wearing my striped tee with cutoff jean shorts while I ran errands all day and at night I had a hot date with my hubby.

I didn't have enough time to change before going so I applied a bold lip and threw on a fun yet glam necklace on to finish off my look. 

Makeup: I wore a red lip in the color excessive, my 3D mascara and bronzer. you can get all products I used here!

Familia + Sunsets Strolls

This evening on our way back home from visiting family who came in town for the weekend, we decided to take a little stroll thru the country which is right behind were we live. 

So much beauty thru these country fields as the sunset is setting!

My husband was able to capture some beautiful shots as we were walking thru! He even caught me while I decided to be playful and climb over a gate into some property (oops) haha

Truthfully then I chickened out, because I felt like I was trespassing! You can say Im more of a goodie goodie and can't bend the rules. lol regardless we got some great shots from todays little adventure.

Aztec Print + Tassel Earrings

What I have noticed that is pretty hot lately, is tassel earrings! I have seen them become more of a trend during this summer, and I must say Im totally in! I love the playfulness of a tassel earring, you don't really need much but the earring as the main accessory for your outfit! (shop for earrings here!)

I paired up these teal tassel earrings with this aztec print romper that I had bought for my honeymoon about 3 years ago from Forever 21. Yes I stick to affordable clothes since I like to buy what's in trend that season and Forever 21 or H&M usually are my go to spots! (You can find a similar romper here!)

Photoshoot Ready

This evening my husband Ryan and I did  a photoshoot of just us two! We never get the chance to make things about us anymore, so when I heard that a photographer (Sabrina Graham Photography) needed a couple for her photoshoot, I jumped on board!

It was a ton of fun collaborating with her and my sweet friend who lent me some GORGEOUS jewelry for this evening! As you can see I'm wearing one of the necklaces here. I fell in love with it as soon as I set my eyes on it. You can purchase them here!

Not to mention, I found this dress at H&M for a steal! It was $15 on sale!! Needless to say, it was a MUST have!

I also bought a second dress to change up the look during the photoshoot! I couldn't stay in the same look all night long, lol. I also found this dress at H&M, this one was about $25 full price. But because it was an off the shoulder, I had to get it as well :D

I paired it with another necklace from my friends shop (KayKCouture) and the gladiators from Steve Madden! Tonight was just a magical night spent with the hubby!

Off The Shoulder!

This off the shoulder top from Target is to die for! and the BEST part it's so affordable! (only $20)

If you ask me, it's the perfect summer top! It can be worn off the shoulder like this for a more flirty take on it, or you can wear it above the shoulders. What ever you're comfortable with, and since its an off white color it goes with just about any fun piece of jewelry you want to add.

I went for a more Boho style so I added this GORGEOUS bold statement piece from one of my favorite jewelry shops, Kay K Couture. Get a similar one here!

I paired the top and necklace off with cutoff jean shorts from American Eagle! These are my go to this summer, because they go with everything. Adding some edge and comfort to my style.
