Familia + Sunsets Strolls

This evening on our way back home from visiting family who came in town for the weekend, we decided to take a little stroll thru the country which is right behind were we live. 

So much beauty thru these country fields as the sunset is setting!

My husband was able to capture some beautiful shots as we were walking thru! He even caught me while I decided to be playful and climb over a gate into some property (oops) haha

Truthfully then I chickened out, because I felt like I was trespassing! You can say Im more of a goodie goodie and can't bend the rules. lol regardless we got some great shots from todays little adventure.

Aztec Print + Tassel Earrings

What I have noticed that is pretty hot lately, is tassel earrings! I have seen them become more of a trend during this summer, and I must say Im totally in! I love the playfulness of a tassel earring, you don't really need much but the earring as the main accessory for your outfit! (shop for earrings here!)

I paired up these teal tassel earrings with this aztec print romper that I had bought for my honeymoon about 3 years ago from Forever 21. Yes I stick to affordable clothes since I like to buy what's in trend that season and Forever 21 or H&M usually are my go to spots! (You can find a similar romper here!)

If you have been following my blog, then you know that I'm in LOVE with gladiator sandals! so I paired my romper with these Steve Madden gladiator sandals. (similar sandals here!)

Floral Accents + Sunnies

I had posted in an earlier post this same top with a boho chic necklace and cut off shorts! Since today felt a bit cooler to me (and by cooler not 104 degrees) I decided to mix it up and wear my boyfriend jeans and a pretty floral necklace. 

Here's a better picture of the full outfit! I just love how easy this top is to pair with whatever I feel like wearing that day! I got this top for only $20 at Target and it has been the best $20 spent :D

Photoshoot Ready

This evening my husband Ryan and I did  a photoshoot of just us two! We never get the chance to make things about us anymore, so when I heard that a photographer (Sabrina Graham Photography) needed a couple for her photoshoot, I jumped on board!

It was a ton of fun collaborating with her and my sweet friend who lent me some GORGEOUS jewelry for this evening! As you can see I'm wearing one of the necklaces here. I fell in love with it as soon as I set my eyes on it. You can purchase them here!

Not to mention, I found this dress at H&M for a steal! It was $15 on sale!! Needless to say, it was a MUST have!

I also bought a second dress to change up the look during the photoshoot! I couldn't stay in the same look all night long, lol. I also found this dress at H&M, this one was about $25 full price. But because it was an off the shoulder, I had to get it as well :D

I paired it with another necklace from my friends shop (KayKCouture) and the gladiators from Steve Madden! Tonight was just a magical night spent with the hubby!

Off The Shoulder!

This off the shoulder top from Target is to die for! and the BEST part it's so affordable! (only $20)

If you ask me, it's the perfect summer top! It can be worn off the shoulder like this for a more flirty take on it, or you can wear it above the shoulders. What ever you're comfortable with, and since its an off white color it goes with just about any fun piece of jewelry you want to add.

I went for a more Boho style so I added this GORGEOUS bold statement piece from one of my favorite jewelry shops, Kay K Couture. Get a similar one here!

I paired the top and necklace off with cutoff jean shorts from American Eagle! These are my go to this summer, because they go with everything. Adding some edge and comfort to my style.

Casual summer evening style

Last night my family and I went out to grab some ice cream (more detail about this in previous post) in Denton. 

I had a pretty busy day full of running errands like grocery shopping and entertaining an 18 month old ( doesnt take much. Just put on Mickey Mouse😂) and making a delicious Puerto Rican dinner for the hubbs per his request

 

So by the time it was time to leave for Denton I had to throw on my makeup and halfway fix my hair hence the braid  down the side. Its ok because it felt youthful and fun, perfect for summer 🙌

I complimented my outfit with fun jewelry and like always a pop of color on my lips. Ive been diggin the hot pink lips look lately. 

Threw on my kicks ( Adidas superstar #forhim) and I completed my summer evening look. Easy peasy👌

Sweet P turns 18 months

Peyton turned 18 months yesterday 🙀

I can hardly believe it but its ok because it's a fun stage ( i say that about every stage😂) 

So we celebrated with our besties and went for ice cream in the evening in an old fashioned ice cream parlor in Denton. 

Look at the difference 1 yr makes! She was 6 months on the left and 18 months on right. 

It was fun because the girls got to walk around and burn off some energy before bedtime and us mamarazzis got to snap about 200 (no joke) pictures of them. 

No i dont keep all 200, but when you're dealing with busy bee toddlers you have to snap a bunch to get 1 or 2 good ones. 

The lighting was perfect to snap some pics of our beautiful little babes. We even got the see a famous squirrel! Her name is Cedar. 

She walked around without a leash but she did have a little harness on and she didn't run away. So crazy! Everyone kept snapping pics 😂 yes! Including myself. 🙈

Overall it was a wonderful night! I mean you can't go wrong when it comes to ice cream and time spent with your best friends ☺️

Burgers in Denton

Last night we decided to venture out of our bubble and go eat dinner as a family in Denton, Tx. 

There's the cutest little burger joint right in the square. It was jammed packed of course so we had some time to kill and decided to take some pics. There's so much  history in that town. Lots of fun walls and places to see while we waited to be sat. 

Our plan was to go grab a burger and then have dessert at Beth Marie's an old fashioned ice cream parlor right next door. But by the time we got around to eating it was already to late for the babe. So we will have to go back and grab some ice cream (hopefully tonight 😉😘)

Regardless, it was an awesome evening with the familia and it got spent outdoors so it was a win win! Also got to take some cute shots of the babe for our Etsy shop! How cute is this shot of her in one of the rompers we are selling?! (Which is my absolute fave!! 😍😍)

Summer stylin for less

Last night I went out for a much needed girls night out with a friend. After running around all day with a cranky teething 1 yr old, the last thing I had was time to get ready!

No joke I was actually wearing this very outfit all day while I ran errands ( minus the wedges, makeup and jewelry)

I had 30 minutes to remove my hair from the ponytail it was in all day, tame it down with a flat iron, apply my makeup on and throw on the wedges and jewelry. 

If you're like me, busy! Then keeping it simple and cute is the name of the game!

How To Keep It Simple:
